Support for the relationship problems that are the hardest to talk about

  • Maybe you discovered your partner’s infidelity a week ago and you’ve barely slept since. Or it’s been six months, and you’re still checking the credit card statement because you’re not sure you’ve been told the whole truth. Couples therapy after infidelity can help you address the betrayal and rebuild trust.

  • Maybe you’ve been hiding pornography use or sexual encounters from your partner. You’ve tried to stop or set limits, but you keep returning to behaviors that are causing problems in your relationship or other areas of your life. Individual therapy for out-of-control sexual behavior can help you make lasting changes.

  • Or maybe one of you wants sex more often than the other. One partner feels rejected, while the other feels pressured, and talking about it only makes things worse. Sex therapy for mismatched sexual desire can help you understand what has been affecting desire and find ways to reconnect that respect both partners’ needs.

Affairs and infidelity, out-of-control sexual behavior, and mismatched sexual desire all create problems at the intersection of love and sex. That intersection is where I specialize.

I’m trained in both couples therapy and sex therapy, which means I can help you address the sexual concerns and relationship difficulties that often influence each other. You don’t have to choose between getting help for your relationship and getting help for your sexual concerns.

I’m an active therapist. I’ll ask direct questions, point out things you may not recognize on your own, and teach you how to handle difficult conversations, rebuild trust, and address sexual problems. My recommendations are grounded in clinical research and tailored to your relationship.
